  I am leading all elements of formulation across innovation project teams to provide formulation development, product characterisation, and technical expertise to drive innovation across the globe.
  
  Key Accountabilities include:
  
  • Responsible for shaping and agreeing, together with Brand Marketing all technical aspects (e.g. product performance standards/targets, etc) of project brief and developing and executing the formulation strategy for the innovation projects.
  
  • Evaluation of technical feasibility by linking the business case with the technical capability.
  
  • Responsible for the technical output On Time In Full of large technically-complex projects.
  
  • Responsible for intellectual property protection and patent, regulatory and Safety/Environment clearances for formulation.
  
  • Responsible for stakeholder management (For e.g. R&D Directors and VP, Category SVP and supplier/partner companies) regarding formulation issues/status.
  
  • Responsible for ensuring comprehensive formulation technical transfer documentation is written when handing of specifications over from Global R&D to Regional R&D to Sourcing Units (i.e. factories).
  
  • Responsible for ensuring handover of practical “know-how” to receiving regions/countries to ensure a successful launch and sell in

• Unilever - European Technical Project Leader / Formulation Manager

  Rueil-Malmaison 2011 - 2013 As Formulation Manager:
  - Deliver workstreams of major innovation & renovation projects
  - Lead Value Improvement, innovation and Portfolio Simplification projects
  - Lead a formulation team of the Laundry category in the Regional Development Center
  
  Main Accountabilities
  - Formulation management
  - to ensure that products in the Laundry portfolio have a sound technological/formulation basis
  - to work effectively in cross functional project teams and to ensure project delivery.
  - to work closely with the Global Development Center and with EU Marketing, Supply Chain and countries to create winning mixes for the EU market.

• Dow Corning in Bruxelles, Belgium - Industrial traineeship with Dow Corning Europe Belgium

  2010 - 2011 Industrial traineeship on the development, characterization and performance testing of silicone polymer-in-water emulsions. The latter will be prepared using a patented polymerization method for applications in life sciences: Personal Care.
  Scientific knowledge: physical chemistry and general chemistry (surfactant, emulsion, polymer, particles)
  
  Task: Formulation, Polymerization, Stability (Ageing), Rheology, Contact Angle, FTIR, GPC3, SEM, Occlusivity and Sensory Tests.

• The Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry of Bordeaux, France - Training period with ICMCB-CNRS

  2009 - 2009 L’élaboration de céramiques nanocomposites innovantes denses (céramiques bio-inertes) et l’étude d’hydroxyapatite (céramique bio-active HAP) en vue de l’amélioration d’implants dentaires. Ce travail a été suggéré par un Docteur Chirurgien Dentiste à la Clinique Saint - Etienne à Bayonne (64). Il s’agit de mieux contrôler les effets de vieillissement des implants dentaires. Ce poste suggérait aussi l'étude piézoélectrique pour ce qui concerne l’évaluation des propriétés diélectriques de l’hydroxyapatite

• Dow Corning Europe - Management de projet

  2009 - 2010 Patents Research to develop a new Hair Care product.
  In charge of planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

• CSIRO Food and Nutritional Sciences in Melbourne, Australia - Industrial traineeship with CSIRO Food Science Australia

  2009 - 2009 The aim was to create suspensions of plant cell wall material with various viscoelastic properties to build up texture of e.g. soups, sauces and dips without any artificial additives and with the benefit of natural micronutrients and dietary fibre.
  
  Task: enzyme extraction, total solids analysis, rheometry, confocal, light and atomic force microscopy.

• The Laboratory Of The Future (LOF)-Cooperation between Rhodia and the CNRS in Bordeaux, France - Training period with Rhodia-CNRS

  2008 - 2008 Completed projects which improved the fundamental understanding of heterogeneities of concentration and constraint during the drying of suspension
  Skills developed: confocale microscopy, rheology, particle sizing, surface tension & contact angle, spin coaters.

• La Toulousaine Des Farines, production department of Flour, France. - Industrial traineeship as factory worker, in the quality unit..

  2007 - 2007 In charge of setting up a waste-sorting policy.

• La Toulousaine Des Farines, production department of Flour, France. - Summer job as a research laboratory assistant.

  2006 - 2006 Responsible for analysing quality levels in wheat and flour during and at end of production process : tests of ashes, proteins, moisture and elasticity (produced alveographs).
