    Business Development
    • Opened the US office of Finaltis in February 2005. Goal: to have a research office and to initiate potential business development opportunities for the firm
    • Worked on structured notes with banks for clients
    Portfolio & Risk Management
    • Started a multi-manager (managed accounts) fund invested in quant-strategies. Launched in December 2003 with $40M AUM; One of the firm’s flagship products.

    Financial analysis & Investment
    • In-depth market analysis and experience in the telecom sector (1 year) and software sector (1 year).
    • Helped to structure and negotiate two $4M deals in which Partech made a proposal to invest (out of 4 investments made by Partech in the last 2 years).
    Board level activities
    • Investment strategy: Helped to restructure a start-up by organizing a new round of refinancing and helped the company solidify a strategy leading to profitability
    • Exit strategy: Participated to the sell of the French leading online travel agency to the major listed company in the space in Europe
    • Chapter 11 strategies: Performed all the business continuity planning including calling for new funding at nominal share value. The company subsequently raised another $18M.
    Business development
    • Pre-sales support for US portfolio companies targeting the European market
    • Developed a network of venture capital firms in Ireland, resulting in increased Irish deal flow and Partech’s visibility
    • Participated in panels and TV interviews on venture capital topics.
    • Active board member for business plan competitions at several French business schools.
