Zaia Lebtahi has more than 20 years in Theater, Film and TV Industry, including work on high-rated television shows as "30 Millions of friends" and "The kindergarden". She has a strong expertise in media production.
Graduate from the Sorbonne University of Paris, in Philosophy, Dramaturgy & Filmology, specialized in the Arts and Metaphysics, Zaia Lebtahi writes, directs, stage -directs, produces, sings, acts and composes music since over 30 years.
From a young age she started writing poetry and acting in theatre plays and then later Directing and Producing.
She is also a certified Theater & Philosophy teacher.
As a professional writer she worked for Bordas Encyclopedia, Theatre, Film and Television (ARTE,TF1,FRANCE2/FRANCE3,La CINQ).
As a professional stage actress she played in such places as The Festival of Avignon , Eglise de la Madeleine, Theatre Mouffetard, Theatre Clavel, Halle St Pierre, in Paris, National Theaters of Lille, Bethunes,... and all others theaters around France.
As a professional Director and Producer she worked for the Theatre, Television and Film.
She made advertising films and numerous documentaries for Television, while she was teaching herself to become a singer.
Then she attended the Jazz Academy of Paris (ARPEJ), became a professional singer and started to write music.
Pursuing her American Dream, she worked as an actress with Lorrie Hull Smithers (Lee Strasberg's collaborator), Lorin Eric Salm (Marceau Mime's student), David Kagen (Robin Wright-Penn, Alec Baldwin) and Jordan Lund, ("Speed", "The bucket list").
She currently writes and directs personal projects with, lately, Ricardo Gale ( John Malkovitch, Tim Roth, Ted Harris, Isaach De Bankole))and among Composing soundtracks for movies she is also working on her Album with Steve Reid (Supertramp, Bernard Lavilliers, Angelique Kidjo), John Cartwright (Harry Belafonte) and Pascal Guyon.
"Aimer CQFD" (To love QED) is her last movie presented at the Landmark Theatres in Los Angeles and in Cannes, Palm Spring, and at the Hamptons and Academy Award International Festivals.
In 2014, she created "Zaia Entertainment Productions", her video productions Company.
