MALAKOFF
Alissa Mickels Pelatan is a member of the California, District of Columbia and Paris Bar and founder of AMP Avocat, a law firm focused on start-ups and social businsses. Mrs. Pelatan worked as In-house Counsel for a public European Company based in Paris, France and as an attorney for multiple international law firms. Mrs. Mickels-Pelatan also teaches classes on comparative business law and corporate social responsibility at the University of Paris.
Mrs. Pelatan has experience assisting sponsors, international organizations, investors, and commercial banks with international business law, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, and white collar criminal defense matters and major international energy and infrastructure projects in Africa. Ms. Mickels also regularly advises social entrepreneurs pursuing alternative corporate vehicles as well as social businesses on corporate governance as it relates to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) issues.
