2010 - 2010I am fully responsible for individual client accounts in France, Belgium and Portugal regarding the sales and operations of groups coming to visit the UK. I have to achieve the maximum possible profit for the Company whilst maintaining the best possible relations with my clients and suppliers.
- I have to ensure the smooth operations of all groups: booking all services, issuing vouchers, invoicing clients etc, in relation to the Operations Executive’s designated clients.
- I have to negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible rates and liaise with Manager and Supervisor of the Group Travel Department.
- I also have to cost and quote accurately when required for new clients and to maintain good co-operation with Sales and Marketing Department, to achieve the cost profit margins for all tours and to aim to over-achieve whenever possible in order to maximizing the potential of achieving the departments yearly targets.
- I operated 120 groups since March and generated a turnover of £556K with a profit margin of £105K, which means an average margin of 18.50% on general sales.
