I hold a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering on development of an innovative process for CO2 capture and storage, from the University of Toulouse, France. I have worked as a post-doctoral research fellow of the University of Queensland at the Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) in Australia, within the comminution group, conducting research on ore characterisation and rock breakage testing. I am now working as research fellow in the comminution team, conducting research on comminution modelling, particle strength measurements, process simulation. I am currently leading the core project 1 of the Anglo Centre for Sustainable Comminution on ore characterisation, working with an international team of high calibre researchers. I have proven strong academic and industrial research skills, including experimental design and instrumentation, reporting and presentation to sponsors, and publications. I have very good organisational skills and creativity to organise and conduct innovative research.
Some of the keywords that best reflect my professional ambitions include mineral processing circuit optimisation, energy efficiency, process simulation and optimisation, experimental design & pilot testing, technology transfer and better industrial practice through detailed process understanding.
