I am a senior executive with a history of designing and executing innovative strategies that position brands for growth and market leadership. I create and redesign business models, build strategic alliances, and motivate multicultural and cross-functional teams to achieve unprecedented results.

I started a successful career in the healthcare industry by joining sanofi-aventis where I spent 13 years in strategic and operational roles in Marketing and Management in Paris, Hong Kong, and Thailand. While in Hong Kong I delivered growth in a declining pharmaceutical market and guided the organization through a major healthcare and economic crisis (The SARS). That success led to a promotion as head of a Strategic Franchise for the company. I was highly involved as VP Marketing in the merger between Sanofi and Aventis in France by leading mutliple task forces around Marketing, Strategy & Sales Forces organization.

To nurture my entrepreneurial spirit, I launched what became a profitable professional services consulting business in 2006 that I continues to grow today. In December 2010, I was hired as President & COO for BroadReach Healthcare to drive growth, global operations and spearhead design of a new hybrid business model that will position the healthcare provider as a leader in selected specialties across emerging markets within 5 years.

Throughout my career I have built strategic alliance with C-level executives in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations and championed initiatives through multicultural teams in France, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the U.S.

I have a true ability to empower people and groups for success even in difficult times and complex situations. My approach is one of engagement and collaboration.

I have a passion for the industry, am a curious person by nature, benchmark business models and practices to stay current, and drive ongoing innovation and growth.

    2010 - 2012 Hired to drive growth and spearhead design of a new business model that will position the healthcare provider as a leader in selected specialties across emerging markets within 5 years. Directed global operations.

    Developed a hybrid business model covering a nonprofit and a commercial business, providing a platform for sustainable growth. Expanded area of expertise beyond HIV (Vaccines, Oncology, Diabetes, NCD…).

    Launched 5 growth platforms for the Life Sciences Division: Strategic Consulting (Market Access, Pricing, Manufacturing, PPPs, etc.), M&A (Strategic Target Evaluation, Market Screening, Acquisitions & Divestitures for European/US companies); Distribution/Market Access; Program Management; Clinical Research. Projects managed for GSK (vaccines…), Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Gilead, Ceva, AkerBioMarine...

  • Iridium Conseil - Founder & Managing Director

    2006 - 2010 Built the consulting company specialized in healthcare/food sectors from the ground up, developing strategy, securing a full network of consultants, and making the business profitable in less than 3 years.

    Key Projects:

    Collaborated with M&A Health (Paris) and Radeco (Sao Paulo) on the acquisition of a Brazilian pharmaceutical by a Chinese company.

    Developed the strategy and acquired funding for two scientific organizations, the Metabolic Syndrome Institute and Residual Risk Reduction Initiative.

    Partnered through a PPP with DOWH Ltd, the Mauritian Government (Finance & Industry Ministries), and launched the Land Based Oceanic Industry, a new strategic pillar for the country (healthcare and consumer products).

    maisons Alfort 2005 - 2006 Directed Cephalon France, the largest company affiliate outside of the U.S., generating €100 million in annual sales. Led 265 employees. Member of Cephalon European Executive Committee.

    Restructured company and built an effective new management team.

    Redefined overall strategy and accelerated growth through successful launches of new products/indications.

  • Sanofi - Vice President Marketing France & Member of the Management Committee

    Paris 2004 - 2005 Promoted to lead a multibillion-euro portfolio with four key franchises and strategic leading brands. Co-led more than 2900 employees. Member of the Restricted Management Board of Sanofi-Aventis France.

    Drove 12% growth rate vs. prior year.

    Led key marketing initiatives in highly competitive markets, including cardiovascular, antibiotic, cholesterol agents, and anti-osteoporotic agents. These initiatives enabled brands to take leadership positions in selected markets and positioned Sanofi-Aventis as the most innovative company in branding.

    Management of a portfolio worth Euros 1.3billion (growth of 12% vs. prior year) with 4 key franchises and leading brands (Aprovel, Ketek, Xatral, Actonel, Orelox…). The position was responsible for a Euros 54M A&P and Medical Budget.

    Contributed actively to the successful merger of the two parents company to form Sanofi-Aventis in France. Leader of many task-forces around portfolio prioritization, strategy and marketing.
