    Paris 2008 - maintenant Global product strategy and product management for Alcatel-Lucent Microwave Business Unit ($500 M annual business)
    -Definition and execution of Alcatel-Lucent Microwave Business Unit strategy: worldwide market segment (geographic and customer targets) and portfolio (in-house development or through partnership/collaboration)
    - Management of a 20 people international and multisite (Italy, France, US) team, focus on product management (detailed product portfolio positioning, lifecycle, roadmap, feature, time to market, evolution, cost reduction, price, quality, post sales support), marketing (marketing plan, pricing and commercial strategy) and business development
    Achievements
    - Repositioning of Alcatel-Lucent business unit on the most growing segment market (Packet Radio), including significant portfolio restructuration (from 5 to 1 product line) leading to becoming N°1 market leader in this segment and an overall market share increase (from N°4 to N°3 position)

  • Alcatel-Lucent - Director new Product Introduction

    Paris 2006 - 2008 Definition and execution of commercial and operational introduction strategy for Alcatel-Lucent Microwave Business Unit’s new product
    - Setting-up of “New Products Introduction” organisation for Alcatel-Lucent wireless transmission BU (international multi-site team)
    - Product management strategy to ease and smooth commercial and operational introduction of new products (price positioning, feature definition, marketing and commercial strategy)
    - Business development of Alcatel-Lucent new microwave business unit’s products through sales force training and direct customer engagement
    - Drive supply chain and production ramp-up during introduction phases; ensure trial success, homologation, type approval and first off customers’ deployment.

  • Alcatel-Lucent - CUSTOMER PROGRAM DIRECTOR

    Nantes 2002 - 2006 Project management of large Telecom Network deployments (TrueMove, Alcatel strategic customer).
    - Responsible for the deployment and project execution of $100M annual contracts: turnkey GSM network including complete network and technology design, sites acquisition, civil work, constructions, supply, acceptance and maintenance for access, transmission and core network / IT equipments
    - Setting-up, leading, managing and restructuring the whole project organisation (team over 200 people: local end expatriate project managers, deployment, supply chain, technical experts, contract managers, subcontractors) in charge of contract execution, customer satisfaction and contract operating profitability (P&L profit centre)
    - Responsible for identifying and finalising new business development opportunities, from commercial strategy to final contract negotiation
    Achievements
    - Extremely rapid rollout of the full telecom network (700 sites - including acquisition- and associated core and IT equipment) in less than a year
    - Significant customer satisfaction allowing Alcatel to maintain its market share within this strategic customer in spite of extremely fierce competition.
    - Organisation restructuring, recruiting and developing local native senior managers – from a technical, project and business development point of view -, enabling closer customer interaction and increased project margin
    - Considerable commercial success with over $100 M contract extensions
  • Alcatel - Program Manager

    Paris 2000 - 2002 Business development and project management for LMDS operator in France, Scandinavia and eastern Europe.
    Responsible for contracts with operator from tender till network roll-out, including product’s supply, installation and commissioning, professional services, site and system acceptance, customer satisfaction, sales recognition and contract profitability

    Paris 1999 - 2000 Responsible for deployment of Qatar Army telecom network: installation & commissioning, acceptance, contractual follow up and technical consulting
