ENGINEER TRAINEE, PROJECT MANAGER
• Context: Business Unit of 100 persons, with 3 production work teams. High level of performances.
• Objective: Carry out changes in the production teams’ work to increase their autonomy (self directed work teams). The stake was to encourage motivation and involvement, so as to maintain the unit’s high performances
• Tools: creation of problem-solving teams with foremen and operators, analyse the present situation (brainstorming), highlight the impediments, propose and apply solutions
• Results: visual management (creation of process indicators), improvement of communication between teams, creation of a suggestion system
