The Multi-Property Systems Manager, in conjunction with the Area Systems Manager, is responsible for assisting hotel management with technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance. The Multi-Property Systems Manager may direct the work of hotel or Area Systems Technicians and interfaces with vendors, owners, Executive Committee and hotel staff.
Among my core work activities are the following:

-Reviews and recommends approval on all new system requests
-Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency on all PC hardware used at hotels
-Acts as key point person for outside technical support, including all coordination of maintenance contracts
-Tracks and reports issues resolved
-Responsible for any data recovery needs
-Manages an MS Active Directory and MS exchange systems
-Responsible for network monitoring
-Consults with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
-Stays abreast of advances in technology
-Evaluates the property's technology use and needs and recommends improvements or upgrades
