    2003 - 2005 Category Manager, primary source of commodity knowledge for the project teams involved in the development and distribution of bid packages in Europe. My responsibilities included the development and design of services categories procurement strategies in order to leverage purchase volume, achieve significant savings, and minimize procurement risk. They also included identifying with Clients the right spend management initiatives in order to expand relationship and deliver bottom line results.

  • Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets) - Project Manager (Brussels)

    2001 - 2003 Project Manager for some sourcing projects over a $100 million worth of business, supporting service level and technical data gathering across centralised or multiple division organisations across Europe, writing the RFQ and RFI documents, identifying new suppliers, dealing with a ten-year investment project, understanding the specific requirements of service levels assessments and safeguarding, and providing recommendations for savings implementation among other duties related to purchasing projects.

    Coordinator of the Lean organization initiative for the Services and MRO team to improve project management efficiency and to enhance customer satisfaction.
