As co-architect/developer for a newly created hedge fund, in a green field project, I worked in pairs to build a full automated platform for the systematic quantitative trading activity from scratch.
- Design of the trading platform, from the market data feeding to the order processing (order management, position management,broker connectivity)
- Selecting, testing and validating the market data provider, for both low latency data and consolidated data.
- Selection, installation, configuration and maintenance of the market database (low latency oriented database Onetick)
- Deployment of the hardware in many datacenters of the production and research, from the choice to the installation and configuration of the components.
- Design of a framework to create automated trading module production-ready in a couple of days.
- Design of the execution proxy and execution strategy to reduce market impact, manage future roll, execute spread with basic order, and manage custom execution strategy.
- Installation and maintenance of a highly collaborative environment for every aspect of the fund activity (researcher, manager, developper and quants)
- IT production management, release management and daily production support for management team, which has been operational since the beginning of April 2011.
- Installating/configurating/scripting a job scheduler with production procedures for a fully automated platform (only end of day validations needed).

As developer at SGCIB, I worked in a small team for the Forex activity in the STP team (middle-back). More particularly I have been in charge of :
- Development of a new control layer for real time processing, to avoid batch processing and bottlenecks in the STP processes (x10 in performance and no more bottlenecks)
- Development of a new matching engine to discover and auto-validate unmatched deals.
- Proof of concept on a control/validation rule-based engine for the Forex back-office activity.
- Support level 2 and level 3 for Stp processes.
- Integration and development of applets and migration of the Forms environment from java 1.4 to java 1.5
- Release manager of control layer and management layer.
- Development and migration of the control layer from C to C#, to be integrated in the new stp platform in full-C#.

I was part of a team of 2 engineers working to develop an embedded satellite router for buisness jet. In this position, I was in charge of :
- Developing a new IHM for the business to manage the initiation of satellite communications more precisely and intuitively.
- Developing a common IHM to integrate all services available with this router to the customer (VoIP, FoIP, Fax, FTP, QoS, Mail, VoD)
- Integrating a tcp-proxy with compression enabled on ground, to save money on air by reducing the weigth of the traffic (audio, video,webbrowsing)
