A senior Telecoms executive who is currently CEO of Hits Equatorial Guinea and Director of Hits Africa and has previously held pan-African leadership roles with Cielux Telecom (Gabon and DRC) and Telecel International (Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo and Niger); has also held Managing Director roles in both Madagascar (Starcel) and Moldavia (France Telecom). Now seeks a CEO/MD position with a leading mobile operator worldwide and is a commercial leader with a strong background in finance, IT and logistics.
Possesses exceptional international experience encompassing time spent working in Romania, Moldavia, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger and can successfully lead diverse international teams. Has a particular interest and experience in Wimax roll-outs. Holds two masters degrees in management and finance and speaks English, French and German.
Specific skills and experience include green-field Telecoms start-ups, global management, finance (M&A, JVs, effective leveraging, securing large-scale financing), strategy, management of direct and indirect distribution channels and Telecom network management expertise and has achieved consistently excellent results in all of his Telecoms leadership positions.
