Project objective was to double the production of Company’s Beaumont, Texas plant with existing sulfide components dedicated to our JV partner, MITSUI / NOVUS International in order to produce Methionine, an amino acid for the Agricultural industry.
• Conducted the project control for FEED phase (31 M$ saving 1M$) and assisted the Business Unit and Project Director to setup the contract with KBR EPC. Project was ready to move to the EPC phase.
• Coordinated all engineering issues regarding their project in Beaumont plant with the engineering company KBR.
• Supported the Project Director for project control, interface with others Contractors EPC, administration, contracting, purchasing, cost and planning control for construction, procurement and logistics as well as field operations…
• Achieved cost reduction during the engineering phase
• Set-up and streamlined all operational procedures for documents to monitor different interface projects in parallel, in addition to managing cost control, planning, doc control, invoicing, sub-contractor reports, presentations, FEED meeting participation and partners reports

• Developed successfully Re-FEED+EPC with Saipem contractor in Paris, and other particular studies with Litwin in order to achieve target completions, provided training and co-ordination of work inspections clearances, related activities across a wide range and value of contracts & agreements
