Main Expert.

After he started his career as a Safety Consultant, Jean-Philippe joined Technip France in 2006 within the HSE Design division. He held various positions in the fields of Technical Safety and Risk Assessment. From 2009 to 2011, as the Risk Quantification Team Leader, he contributed to the success of Shell FLNG in elaborating specific approaches for this pioneer project. As the Head of Risk Quantification department from 2012 to 2015, he has been developing expertise of Technip in performing QRA and Technical Safety Studies.

    # Prelude FLOATING LNG (Shell) – FEED contract – TSC Consortium (Technip and Samsung Heavy Industries) for a floating LNG facility (2009-2011):
    -Responsible for technical and administrative management of the Risk Quantification activities and interfaces with Client, partner, project team, Australian operating centre (Perth), subcontractors and other disciplines. Reporting.

    # SHTOKMAN DEVELOPMENT - Phase 1 (JV Gazprom/ Total/StatoilHydro), reimbursable FEED contract for a LNG train, Teriberka, Russian Federation (2008-2009):
    -Management and close technical follow-up of Explosion Risk Analysis (CFD) Study.
    -Management and close technical follow-up of Marine loading facilities Risks Quantification Study.
    -Management and technical backup to a junior engineer for achievement of a Consequence Analysis.

    # YEMEN LNG (Total/General Gas Corp. of Yemen), LSTK contract in JV with JGC and KBR for the implementation of a LNG complex (2 trains), Bal-Haf, Yemen (2009):
    -Mission on LNG complex construction site (Yemen):
    •Definition of Safety Distances for Propane Offloading Operations for RFSU.

    -Management and close technical follow-up of Safety Studies: FRA, ERA, DOS, EERA and QRA.
    -Management and technical backup to a junior engineer for achievement of a Flare flame-out atmospheric dispersion Study.

    # OKLNG (Olokola) LNG Development Project (JV Shell, British Gas Group, Chevron and NNPC) – FEED contract in joint venture with Snamprogetti for 2 LNG trains and associated facilities including export by ship loading facilities - Stage 1c-Stage 1d, Nigeria (2008-2009):
    -Responsible for technical and administrative management of the HSE Design activities and interfaces with Client, partner, project team, subcontractors and other disciplines. Reporting.
    -Development of a consequence-based Pneumatic Testing Philosophy.

    # AL-SHAHEEN REFINERY FEED PROJECT, QATAR PETROLEUM, FEED contract for a grassroots refinery and a crude pipeline, Mesaieed, Qatar (2007-2008):
    -Management and close technical follow-up of BRA (Building Risk Assessment) Study.
    -Management and technical backup to junior engineers for achievement of a Consequence Analysis Study: calculations to provide early outlines for Plot Plan versus Process Units development, specifically considering the buildings location and safety separation distance in plant layout.

    # SHELL UPSTREAM DEVELOPMENT B.V., Persian LNG Upstream Onshore, FEED contract for a gas treatment plant, Tombak Pars II – Islamic Republic of Iran (2007):
    -Management and close technical follow-up of QRA Study.
    -Achievement of a FEA (Fire and Explosion Analysis).
    -Coordination of Blast loading calculations for Process field buildings (FARs, Electrical Substations and Analyser Houses).

    # TOTAL E&P ANGOLA, DALIA FPSO Topsides: LSTK contract in joint venture with Saipem and Stolt Offshore, Angola (2006-2007).
    Achievement of Tandem offloading studies:
    -Study of FPSO flare radiation and of tanker vent flammable envelop – Assessment of the possibility of ignition of the tanker vent release.
    -Risk wind sector analysis and identification of a recommended area sector for tanker location.
