Missions:
-Defined the strategy for the paints and varnishes and ensured a harmonized process of purchasing to achieve the objectives settled on short and long term
-Ensured a continuous link with the Marketing and Sales Department to capture and react to the market trends, risks and opportunities
-Managed the scope of 20 plants in: Europe, Middle East, Africa & Canada and ensured an efficient communication with the users
-Ensured that final users’ needs are satisfied.
-Led the R&D projects related to the development of new products through strict validation protocols (transversal management of a team of 10 researchers on various projects). Involved in setting targets and priorities.
-Defined the frame contracts and deployed the standard warranties on back to back principle with suppliers
-Role of Lead User to ensure that the plants concerned will align in accordance with the global strategy
-Rationalization & standardization of products to maximize competition and to ensure the targeted TCO
-Ensured proper controls for the sourcing in Low Cost Countries to mitigate the risk of low quality
-Responsible for product safety compliance and reporting to the authorized bodies of the company (REACH regulation – Conflict Minerals – BASTA regulation accountability)
-Identified and deployed benchmarking and best practice mainly on emerging markets, by participation to seminars, KMPs and on-site visits
-Reported on a timely basis to the top management of the company, with participation in management committees, the strategy, risk and opportunities and the main achievements

2009 - 20134 years as Head of purchasing outsourced maintenance department for ArcelorMittal Fos sur Mer. In charge of maintenance purchasing for Saint Chély plant & 4 plants in Italy as Cluster Buyer within corporate organization.
Missions:
-Created the structure and the working procedures for the department
-Recognized as a best practice within the group and methodology and working procedures deployed in other entities of the Group ArcelorMittal
-Managed directly a team of 8 employees from technicians to engineers, functional links with relays in other plants of the perimeter (transversal management)
-Directly involved in the HR process for the team (recruitment, promotions and terminations)
-Adapted contracts to crisis environment (short term target)
-Defined the purchasing strategy for the whole perimeter (middle & long term target)
-Led the projects on maintenance contract renegotiation (with the achievement of fixed costs reduction) involving 15 people in Fos sur Mer
-Ensured the achievement of the established targets (safety, savings, customers’ satisfaction)

-Deployed Load Management project in other countries (Belgium, Luxembourg & Romania)
-Participated as member of Purchasing Department in ArcelorMittal Energy Agora
-Metering expert for ArcelorMittal in electricity missions for France – Romania – Ukraine
