In charge of AFD activities in the Southern States of Nigeria, principally in Lagos, the largest African city (18 million inhabitants) and the economic capital of West Africa (more than 20% of the West African GDP). It consists of:
- Identification, financing and management of projects:
o Urban development project for 130 MUSD in collaboration with the Lagos State Government: upgrading of slums (300 000 dwellers), construction of waste management infrastructures and provision of technical assistance to governmental institutions involved in the project;
o « Affordable Housing » project for 6.5 MUSD in partnership with a Microfinance Bank and Lafarge;
o Identification of a Rural Electrification project in several States of Nigeria.
- Communication : AFD awareness and project promotion, partenerhip relation management (Lagos State government, French Consulate, Banking sectors, Nigerian, French or foreign private actors, etc);
- Agency management: staff management, administration, accountancy, etc.
