After twelve years working in the photojournalism industry I decided I was ready for a career change.
Four years ago I studied the Early Childhood Diploma course at the Montessori Centre International in London. I am now a bilingual French/English Montessori teacher with over 4 years teaching experience in London and Paris.
I have experience with Early Years learners and have been teaching both large and small classes of children aged 3-6. Coming from a Montessori background I am used to working with a wide range of materials and a variety of teaching methods. I have a large repertoire of games, songs and books as well as a great deal of experience presenting Montessori material. I have created a range of classroom resources including photo/map displays as well as literacy, geography, biology and nomenclature material. I also have experience conducting mini workshops on differing world cultures/crafts and teaching skills to children using Montessori methodology.
