    • Performed analyses in explicit and implicit codes, linear and non-linear (contact and material) analyses, static and dynamic analyses in the field of metal forming.
    • Performed extensive developmental numerical and experimental work for companies like Snecma and Volvo Aero
    • Extensive experience in innovative processes like semi-solid casting (modelling, design and industrial implementation).
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing and material processing of Al and semi-solid processes, Mg, Steels and Ni based Superalloys.
    • Structural redesign of an Al based automotive component and optimisation (lean manufacturing) using FEA tools (Abaqus and ProCAST )
    • Responsible for directing the path of the R & D with regard to metal forming technologies with various business units (Processing, Modelling, Metallurgy and Design)
    • Technical advisor and development of strategies pertaining to Light Metal Centre on issues pertaining to metal forming and manufacturing technologies.
    • International networking with leading Industries and R & D centres for business development and research (University of Dublin, Imperial College, SINTEF, CNRS, Snecma, Volvo Aero, Boeing).
