Pierre-Yves Beaurepaire (b. 1968), is professor of history at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis since 2003, and fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France. As a visiting professor, he taught at San Francisco State University, Brussels Free University, Tokyo University, Tunis I University. Author of 15 books in the field of cultural history, sociability and networks, he is specialized in 18th-century French and European History.
