2014 - maintenantAdministering all aspects of BEFRA’s office in Lille, including filing documents with the local
Trade Registrar, tax authorities and other French authorities as necessary
• Providing translations of documents (between English/French/Arabic) as required by the head
office or projects
• Organizing periodic BEFRA board and shareholder meetings, including preparing or coordinating
the agenda and background documents with Bechtel legal team and/or other Bechtel internal
services, taking minutes and arranging the logistics for the meetings
• Undertaking of tasks assigned by colleagues in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Gabon and
other locations, including providing business development support to the Africa team
• Liaising with colleagues in other Bechtel offices as and when required
• Potential coordination with external organizations to provide language immersion and other
training to Bechtel employees
• Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, word processors and databases
• Managing filing systems
• Recording office expenditure and managing the budget
• Organizing the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment
• Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs in coordination with
the landlord
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
• Ensuring all local laws regarding the office are complied with, liaising with the legal team in
London or other locations as required
• Coordinating with the legal team in London regarding periodic renewal of the office lease
• Coordinating any other events or visits as required
