    2008 - 2010 My role, as an Application Engineer, is to prepare and support the application development of the customers.

    Thanks to frequent contacts with customers, I provide technical feedback from the Market, and participate to the definition of new System / Products, for
    which I’m responsible of the Customer Requirement Specification, and by this mean,take part in the BL product roadmap definition.

    Prepare the needed Hardware and Software material for System and Application prototypes for Products design-in, with the associated documentations.
    Design the applications as part of the customer system development, and take part in joint activities within the internal/external partners for system definition and evaluation / validation.

    Support the key customers & partners into their application during and after products development time.
    As application expert, and aligned with the marketing strategy, the Application Engineer leads the investigation of any new market opportunity with current products, and is in charge of the realisation any new system application proposal required for the new identified market.Translation of customer requirements into product specifications.

    Ensure the proper sales and customer support though:
    • Demo-boards / Reference designs
    • Application notes / user manuals
    • Technical presentations to customers
    • Participation to targeted shows / professional fairs
    • Direct customer/partner support and assistance during design-in time
    • Training of FAE’s / local support / eventually customers
    Ensure proper System Innovation support through:
    • Feedback of the Market needs and responsibility of the generation of the Customer
    Requirement Specification, in close cooperation with Marketing function
    • Support the project team for redaction of the internal product specification
    • System realisation / test / evaluation of feasibility prototype when needed
    • Benchmarking / competition analysis when needed
    • Cross-projects / cross-functional studies and/or development, to increase global System Competencies
