  • Airbus - HEAD OF FORMING UNIT MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

    Blagnac 2014 - maintenant Project: Ensure the link between the production and the design office, in defining optimal manufacturing process, to produce detail parts and subassemblies. Take into account the definition changes, develop and communicate improvement proposal related to product.

    Responsibility:
    • Ensure technical support to the manufacturing line and machine programming for all serial programs production (SA, LR, WB, LA, Air inlet A380, A400M and ATR)
    • Manage improvement process (15 major manufacturing processes) for productivity and Recurring Cost savings
    • Manage Non-Recurring Cost budget – Develop Airbus Operational Planning
    • Follow the layout of new production means and their entry into service (A350, A330 Neo, A320 Neo)
    • Budget 5 M€. - Subcontracting activities 1.3M€
    • Participate as technical leader to the definition of the core/non-core strategy
    • Manage operationally 21 Airbus employees + 15 Subcontractor employees
  • Airbus - A320 NEO LAUNCH TEAM

    Blagnac 2013 - 2014 Project: Lead and steer the A320 NEO (After Pylon Fairing, Air Inlet, Forward Secondary Structure) industrialisation for St Eloi Forming Unit.

    Responsibility:
    • Guarantee interface between manufacturing engineering and forming Unit to ensure the industrialisation schedule. Take appropriate actions to respect cycle time and cost targets.
    • Analyse internal capacities to be able to ramp up to 50 aircraft per month
    • Define and implement the necessary actions to produce the APF (machines, investment, human resources, jigs and tools ...) in cooperation with the multidisciplinary team.
    • Manage a team of 6 persons
    Achievements
    • Delivered 10 Forward Secondary Structures and 10 After Pylon Fairings on time
  • Airbus - SERIAL AIRFRAME INTEGRATOR

    Blagnac 2011 - 2013 Airframe Engineering community: The mission is to develop and deliver « best in class » airframe architecture and optimized structure. We are the Program and Plant focal point at Airframe level.

    Project: Lead and steer several transnational & multidisciplinary projects for serial aircraft.
    Achievements:
    • Delivered ES design reply on the future A380 B² development
    • Managed A380 & LR Pylon projects ( Spigot retrofit tests, Peel Shim, fatigue test, Upper spar crack project …)
    • Lead A380 Airframe weight and cost saving project (Rib1 ISOGRID optimisation, cabin windows optimisation …)
    • Set regular reviews face to face, with business travel to the different team locations
    • Put in place project management tools
  • Airbus - MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

    Blagnac 2009 - 2011 Saint-Eloi is specialized in developing and manufacturing the pylons and nacelles for the entire Airbus family
    Project: Manufacturing focal point on the APF A380 (After Pylon Fairing) re-engineering project
    Achievements: Organised and planned the APF A380 production – transfer from Manufacturing Engineering to manufacturing serial production

    Blagnac 2009 - 2009 Project: Optimise superplastic forming (SPF) process of the forming unit
    Achievements: Identified recurring costs reductions
  • WATSON MARLOW - MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

    2007 - 2007 Watson-Marlow Bredel world leader of peristaltic pumps.
    Project: Automate the production line of the top selling pumps
    Achievements: Reduced production costs by 8%
