En résumé

Passionate about the luxury service, I am currently following a 3 years program at the Vatel Business School with the objective to be graduated with a Master Degree in luxury Hotels Management (in June 2016). Desirous to improve my skills in the hospitality industry, I am everyday looking for new challenges. Highly motivated and curious, I truly think that the key to succeed in this industry is to acquire knowledge and experience in all of its different departments and functions.

My academic background has given me the necessary knowledge of the different activities of a hotel. For instance, I have a bachelor's degree in management and marketing business (2011-2012) with 5 months in the Cegep André-Laurendeau (Montréal, Canada) specializing in international marketing. And this year I am studying International Hotel Management at the Vatel School, with 10 weeks of work practice in the training restaurant of the Institute.

I am a dynamic, really positive, versatile, sociable, highly motivated and open-minded young man with a passion for hospitality. I remain cheerful in every situation and I try to transmit it to people. In addition, I have an international experience, I lived for three months in San Francisco, then six months in New York and finally in Montreal for five months. I also have a general knowledge in most units, thanks to my parents who have their own hotel "Les Campanules" in Tignes in the French Alps. Finally, I got some experience in the luxury hotel "Cap- Eden -Roc" in Antibes with three summer seasons as manager at the Kids Club.


What I am Looking for?

In short-term every opportunity to put into practice my skills in hospitality, if possible in the majority of services that include reception, catering, assistant housekeeper, bar, concierge services and room service.
In long-term: Well, tell me what you propose and i will think about it...

  • Intercontinental moorea resort & spa - Assistant Executive Housekeeper

    2014 - maintenant Tasks/Responsibilities:
    - Supporting the manager with coaching and managing a large team of 56 housekeepers
    - Ensuring all stock levels are managed effectively
    - Overseeing housekeeping / cleaning staff and ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness in the 144 guest rooms and all public areas
    - Oversees lost and found and proper recording, storage, and communication to various departments
    - Review daily and weekly scheduling, based on demands of hotel, and properly maintain levels of staffing therein
    - Daily inspection of all rooms to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are consistently being met and room attendants are completing tasks in a timely fashion
    - Liaise with Reception on a daily basis to discuss bookings
    - Liaise with Maintenance regarding any maintenance issues
    - Undertake any other duties requested by the hotel managers
    - Developed Excel spreadsheets to improve follow-up of stock, planning etc…

    - One week Cross training as an assistant Rooms Division Manager

  • Waiter and Cook Trainee - Waiter and Cook Trainee

    2013 - 2013 10 weeks of work practice in the training restaurant of the Institute: Waiter (5 weeks with banqueting, bar, fine-dining restaurant...), Cook and Pastry training (4 weeks) and Waiter at the "Café Vatel", bar and snacking (1 week).

    Tasks/Responsibilities:
    - Waiter: taking orders, serving customers, setting up tables, handling customer transactions
    - Cook: preparing food
    - Bar-tender: preparing hot and cold drinks, preparing snaking, serving customers, stock management
