  • Projet Futur - Founder - Coach

    2011 - maintenant Projet Futur is a start-up designed to help teenagers from 14 to 18 to figure out what they want to do in their life.

    Based on recognized psychometric tests, we intend not to give answers to the teenagers, but to teach them how to think about the topic of orientation and career in order to make the good choices thorough their whole life.
  • Ubisoft Entertainment  - Quality Manager - France

    Rennes 2009 - 2011 Operational management of Quality teams in 3 studios. Resource planning, recruitment, coaching, coordination, and strategy.
    This includes inshore and offshore testing management, tools and process for production optimisation, and test automation.

    Key Achievements
    - Projects shipped: Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Just Dance 2, Just Dance 3, Raving Rabbidz Travel in Time, Michael Jackson - The experience.

    Strategy and Innovation

    • Implemented the first-ever upfront integration of the offshore testing in India, using the time difference as a means to achieve seamless production. This doubled version turnover and eliminated systematic time wastage from obsolete test results.
    • Created and integrated a new role for more qualified testers. This streamlined production by allowing engineering teams to receive targeted test results, reducing waiting time from 2 days to 4 hours.
    • Initiated and organized monthly feedback rounds on project status and best practices that developed a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing between 8 studios around the world.

    Leadership

    • Supervised and recruited 50 quality control employees over 5 lines of production in 3 different studios.
    • Met the deadlines by
    progressively prioritizing the team's focus on major issues and emphasizing transversal communication.
    • Refined and promoted new evaluation guidelines to better assess the testers' performance and solve a situation where 100% of the testers were evaluated as 'average'. Conducted a studio-wide training on
    them. This increased the spread of evaluations by 80%.

    Customer Experience

    • Promoted an upfront integration of Usability Experts in the interface design process. Improving their qualitative feedback through easier and more systematic integration.
    • Organized in-house focus groups to feedback to the design teams and foster design upgrades.
    • Collaborated with Ubisoft's Strategic Innovation Lab to study the effect of video games on people's lives.
  • Playsoft - Head of QA

    2007 - 2009 Responsible from the whole QA department of Playsoft.
    Playsoft QA is divided in 4 studios : France, Poland, Mexico, and Vietnam, for over 150 workers in total.
    The position involves man-management, setting-up of the studios (Mexico, Vietnam), designing and maintaining the test processes, opening new activities (Console testing, outsource testing offers).

    Key Achievements:

    Multicultural Leadership and Coaching

    • Led directly 95 employees in Poland and France. Supervised the teams in Mexico and Vietnam (20 and 35 employees respectively). Managed the growth of the Polish studio from 10 to 90 employees.
    • Structured the Polish studio and launched the Mexican and Vietnamese branches on the same model.
    • Recruited directly over 200 testers in 2 years. Interviewed over 800 candidates.
    • Selected, trained and coached a collaborative mid-management team of 12 leaders over the 4 studios.

    Business and Product Development

    • Developed an offshore quality assurance service from scratch to 30 full-time employees, generating a monthly profit of $70,000. Analyzed competition to improve the attractiveness of the offer.
    • Actively expanded the customer base and developed strong client relationships. Obtained references from over 80% of clients for the teams' reactivity, creativity and professionalism.
    • Researched and developed new services to address new customer segments (Nintendo consoles and iPhone) and balance the decreasing demand on Java-based platforms.

    Problem Solving and Change Management

    • Designed and implemented an incentive system rewarding the best performers.
    • Reduced costs of the Polish studio by 30%, most notably by establishing a steady personnel turnover. • Redesigned the quality procedures to reduce risks and ensure on-time deliveries.
