Power Utilities/Industries equipments and modernization solutions to bring power reliably and efficiently from the point of generation to the end consumers. I came to GE as part of its acquisition of the Power and Grid divisions of Alstom in November 2015. I left my HRBP role in August 2017, and kept supporting GE on a litigation case resolution until it was settled in January 2018.
As the HR Leader of the Grid business, I planned and executed the HR Strategy for the North America Region (1,800p. $700m). Reporting to the Division's Head of HR, I led the Human Resources function and teams in US and Canada and achieved the transition to the HRBP/COE Service Delivery model. In 2016, after the alliance with Alstom was completed, I focused on HR Business Partnership with the newly integrated NAM structure, and guided business leaders and organizations in the integration process. Accountable for driving the organization-wide HR agenda for the business.
• Guided teams, organizations and drove cultural integration during the M&A process. Deployed a new contemporary “no rating” Performance Development process. Culture & engagement survey Ambassador for US & Canada.
• Global responsibility supporting the High Voltage projects including the ramp-up of a +$500m large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project in Newfoundland and the assimilation of 80+ Project and Engineering leaders.
• Achieved post merger organization integration, Staffing of Region leadership roles within Operations, Commerical, & Projects.
• Restructured the new combined regional commercial organization (400 p.). Succesfully managed workforce reduction waves in an unusually turbulent time.

Signaling and infrastructure systems including switch machines, relays, track circuits, interlocking products, signals, onboard equipment and the Positive Train Control (PTC) family of products.
HR Leader of a state-of-the-art Manufacturing and Project Engineering center (700p. $150m), developping vital signaling and train infrastructure systems and software solutions. I managed a 2.5X growth and the nuances of federally funded contracts in an unusually complex and dynamic business environment. I reported to the North America VP HR, and operationally to the President and CEO of the Signaling operations in NAM.
• Strategized and successfully achieved the assimilation of 300+ Software, R&D, Systems and Project engineering positions staffed in 24 months.
• Restructured the HR Team set-up and imlemented a contemporary Client group approach tailored to better develop the “internal customer intimacy” with business leaders.
• Support the site turnaround, regained control of the salary costs structure, dragged down by costs by $2m, managed 3 major Product Line organizational transformations in 4 years, hired 100% of the leadership team.
• Successfully executed a $7m restructuring project, realigned workforce capacity with projects manloading, direct impact on profitability, reshaped the population structure by implementing a creative Voluntary Retirement Plan and a competency based career development cycle.
• Reduced expatriates, consulting and temporary workforce costs by 75% by buidling a sustainable capacity of local Leaders and technical experts.
• Led the negotiation of a 3 years Bargaining Unit agreement (1st time in ten years with no strike, no lock-out, contract ratified with 84% during the first vote).
• Executive board member of the Alstom Signaling Foundation.
