Proposals development:
- Production of budget and proposal text for assigned clinical studies
- Co-ordination, set-up and management of all strategy calls/meetings related to the proposals and budgets development.
- Liaison and co-ordination with key operational managers and heads of functional groups regarding strategy for running the proposed project.
- Liaison and management of third party providers such as sub-contractors.
- Involvement in proposals and contracts negotiations, bid defence meetings and follow-up with the client.
- Key data analysis and reporting to finance and senior management.
- Maintenance of tracking systems and databases to allow sales and financial reporting.
- Review of client contracts as appropriate.
Team Support/Initiatives Work:
- QC of proposals and budgets from colleagues
- Training and coaching to less experienced staff in the group
- Involvement in special project work related to the improvement of process and tools.
- Involvement in some lean sigma projects
Key Contact from the Proposals Team for some Sponsor:
- Key contact within the proposal team for any questions from the Sponsor
- Help to define the Key Performance Indicators to be put in place
- Improve the proposal development and negotiation processes
- Oversee quality and harmonisation of proposals
- Involvement in Steering Committee meetings
- Set-up of Sponsor specific templates.
