• Carrying out complex technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and preparing reports to support the resolution of problems and the improvement of engineering capability
• Preparing specifications and designs in accordance with quality and technical standards
• Supporting acceptance trials in-house and at other sites
• Participating in the development of engineering processes
• Performing work within time, cost and quality expectations and in an organised fashion such that they can easily be handed over to a successor
• Reporting progress on assigned tasks including predicted completion dates, problems and risks
• Providing assistance and support to development teams on design issues

Paris2011 - 2014Managed the structural calculation department, whose mission is to perform the FE (mechanical) and CFD (thermal and hydraulic) calculations to check the compliance of the propulsion components with the applied codes: nuclear components (pressure vessel, pressurizer, steam generator…) or mechanical components (gear boxes, shaft, propeller…).
The department consists in 15 engineers – permanent staff (from young graduate to experts) and 15 subcontractors.

• Develop the interfaces with the design engineering departments

• The analysis of the customer needs, the definition of the share of work
• The redaction of the technical proposal
• The cost estimate
• The presentation of the final commercial and technical proposal to the Nantes premises director and bid comity
The technical and commercial proposal is realised by a proposal team (between 5 and 10 persons).
The following calls for tender have been managed: ITER vacuum vessel, UK EPR heat exchangers…
