En résumé

With a profile at the interface between chemistry and biotechnology, I am interested in obtaining new enzymes as tools in organic synthesis. With that aim in mind, I have now joined Dr. Seelig's lab at the University of Minnesota, USA, as this team is focused on the evolution of artificial enzymes, thanks to a method that allows the selection of completely de novo biocatalysts.

    2010 - 2010 (6 month internship) Synthesis of potential therapeutic molecules. Multi-step synthesis from a hundred-milligram scale to a multigram scale. Use of microwave assisted reactions, metal catalysis, flash purifications on prepacked columns.

    2009 - 2009 (3 month internship) Studies on the influence of bulky moieties in the synthesis of asymmetrically substituted phthalocyanines. Acquired skills in organic synthesis and purification techniques.
