    2009 - maintenant Since August 2009 I have taken over an individual business that was founded 10 years ago, dealing with sales representation of wine estates, and wholesale distribution of wines and spirits, in Brittany, to a professional (restaurants, bars, discos and wine cellars) clientele.
    The portfolio comprises next to 30 wine houses or estates, half of them practising organic methods.
  • A. Clouet & Co. (KL) Sdn. Bhd. (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) - Brand Manager

    2007 - 2008 • Established an Italian brand of organic food in Malaysia’s retail market. 150+ points of sale including 100+ in mainstream distribution.
    • Planned the marketing operations for the launching of a newly created brand of kids’ cordials.
  • A. Clouet & Co. (KL) Sdn. Bhd. (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) - Europe Development Manager

    2001 - 2007 • Took over existing portfolio of Food brands & products comprising of 3 main lines : Asian ethnic, Spices and a then recent acquisition (African food), and a zone including Europe, Africa and North-America;
    • Developped market geographically (establishing importers/agents in new places) and volume-wise (range extensions and new sources of volume).
    • Doubled total sales while tripling those of the African line, and increasing gross margin nearly twofold.
  • CW Singapore Pte Ltd (Singapore) - Business Development Manager, Aeronautics Division

    1999 - 2000 • Regional agency for several European and American aeronautics and airport equipment players, 1 Chamber of Commerce and 1 French Port.
    • Won the first contract at CHANGI Airport (SIN), for an Italian manufacturer of counters and desks (their Dutch competitor was in virtual monopoly situation for 23 years), after 18 months of follow-up and lobbying.
    • Agent of CCI Midi-Pyrenees in South East Asia : organized and monitored yearly mission trip for Chamber of Commerce ‘Midi-Pyrenees’ (Toulouse area) : fields covered as diverse as food, veneer, brandy and aeronautics.
    • Job also involved demonstrating and selling electronic safety devices for tower cranes in construction sites.
  • PT CHANDRA INTI KARANA (Jakarta, Indonesia) - Division Manager, Hotel Supplies

    1998 - 1999 • B2B; importing and supplying room and banquet equipment for 4* hotels and above, all premium brands
    • Managing 2 sales persons and one technical staff (electronic key systems and safety deposit boxes), covering Business Hotels and Resorts in Java, Bali and Lombok.
    • Despite adverse economic and social conditions, managed to collect most receivables from previous transactions, as well as tripled the clients base to position the company for an accelerated recovery when economy would improve.
    • Designed a foolproof quotation spreadsheet for a range of kitchen equipment (5,000+ items).
  • LECTRA SYSTEMS (S) Pte Ltd (Singapore) - Development Manager, Technical Textiles Solutions

    1996 - 1997 • French National Service (CSNE) status
    • Prospected and qualified targets for a new technology (leather and upholstery pattern and cutting solution)
    • Organized seminars for demonstration and training of various systems towards decision-makers of various specialties
