Designer de circuit intégrés mixtes pendant 5 ans (dont 1 an en allemagne) puis responsable d'un centre de design, chargé par la suite de suivre les projets en cours.

Aujourd'hui ingénieur d'application terrain ( FAE )chez ON Semiconductor en relation avec nos clients français et européens pour la vente de nos produits (standards et spécifiques).

  • ON Semiconductor - Principal FAE

    TOULOUSE 2004 - maintenant On top of my former responsibilities:
    Investigated the renewable energy market:
    - Identified the main players, the technologies used.
    - Put together the ON offering.
    - Define the strategy with the BUs.
    - Met customers
    Worked with the new SANYO division to understand their products in details and introduce them rapidly to our main customers


    Since April 2004 : Field Application Engineer for AMIS Acquired by ON Semiconductor in March 2008
    I am part of the European sales organization, I am working closely with sales engineers, Business unit product managers on the strategy to ensure the 30M$ “design win” yearly objective.
    - Responsible for the technical part of the sales of Integrated Circuit.
    - Work in close cooperation with our sales engineers from first customer contact to IC production.
    - In charge of: understanding our customer’s real needs, decision makers fear & obligations.
    - Make sure to be in position to provide a proposal that addresses all requirements.
    - Discussed the specific IC specification to find the right trade-offs (performances, cost, quality).
    - Leading a worldwide team investigating the automotive ignition requirements to define new ICs.
    - Investigating the photovoltaic market (need, players) to define the ON Semiconductor offering.
    Various fruitful interactions with:
    - Different markets such as automotive, industrial, foundry, renewable energies, medical & military.
    Took into account their different expectations (cost or quality, long life time or immediate availability).
    - Our main clients such as Schneider Electric, Valeo, Magneti-Marelli, Continental, Thales, Alcatel, …
    - Our distributors to ensure a wide advertising and support of our products.
    - Our marketing teams to provide feedback on our customer expectations.
    - Our design teams to get insight of our capabilities and the technologies teams for R&D projects.
    - Our application teams to solve customer issues.

    European & Wordwide FAEs training organization, new FAEs training.

  • Thales microelectronics - Program manager

    Courbevoie 2002 - 2004 I was in charge of following projects as PCB design (RF applications, video applications, control boards involving FPGAs).
    => management of costs, planning, risks, resources and interface with the customers.
    I was also in charge of the Lab. (make sure the equipments were available and avoid bottle necks).

  • Thales microelectronics - Design center manager

    Courbevoie 2001 - 2002 The design center was in charge of designing ICs for Alcatel.
    There were 2 types of ICs : analogue + RF and digital.

    At the end of 2001, we converted this center to a PCB, FPGA & SW design center to cope with the new market situation.
  • Altran & Thales microelectronics - Design Engineer

    1996 - 2000 I began as a analogue IC designer working as a consultant for various customers :
    STM, Alcatel, TI ...
    Designed ADCs, DACs, LDOs, PLL, DLL, Opamp, Oscillators, ...
    Then became a technical project leader.
