Burj Al Arab is defined as the most luxurious and only 7 stars hotel in the world. It provides 202 duplex suites and six award-winning signature restaurants.
Working in “Al Mahara”, the fine dining seafood restaurant (70 seats, 2 private rooms)
On a daily basis:
- Deal with highly demanding guests, top VIPs, celebrities.
- In charge of the opening or the closing.
- Manage a team of 12 waiters, 6 hostess and 3 bartenders overall.
- Assist my managers and the cashier in their everyday tasks.
- Upsell to achieve the budget targets.
- Apply the LQA/LRA and IFH standards to achieve the targets regarding the reports.
- Ensure that the HACCP standards are followed.
- Train the staff (F&B knowledge, standards, upselling techniques, fish carving, sequence of service…).
- Represent the team for any issue within the staff.

- From February 2012: Supervising the project of La Caverna Wine Bar. In charge of the opening in March 2012. Made all the prices of the wine list and worked on the whole space organization.
