    Modelling: turbulent multiphase flows, non-newtonian flows, open channel flows, compressible flows, computational fluid dynamics (LES-VOF simulations)
    Metrology: Venturi tubes, flumes, coriolis, ultrasonic sensors, rheometers, multi-energy gamma densitometers, accelerometers, inertial navigation systems.
    Statistics: bayesian methods, markov chains, Kalman filters, inverse/optimisation problems.
