  • Medecine for Malaria Venture (MMV) - Project Manager

2014 - maintenant Management of a preclinical development project to develop a new treatment against malaria.
  • SoftCatalysis - Founder

2014 - 2014 Logiciels sur mesure et applications informatiques au sein des logiciels de bureautiques. Outils informatiques pour la gestion de projet.
  • EMD Serono - Director, Project Management

2012 - 2013 Project Management and team leadership for Phase II Development projects in Multiple Sclerosis
  • Merck Serono - Project Manager

Lyon 2009 - 2012 I am providing Project Management support to Discovery project teams and my experience currently covers all phases of Research. I am also working on the design, development and implementation of tailor-made and intuitive software for project management. My experience as a project manager is much helpful for developing the most business relevant applications. These two activities require many interactions with a large variety of functions and my position consequently has a very strong cross functional aspect and covers all areas of drug discovery.
  • Merck Serono SA - Chimiste Médicinal - Post Doc

2007 - 2008 My research focussed on the development of new treatments for Tropical Diseases (Malaria). I collaborated actively with DMPK chemists, which was particularly enriching. I also centralised all the biological data for the project, which allowed for a very motivating overall view of the drug discovery process. The supervision of a young technician was another of my tasks.
  • SEESIB-CNRS - Ingénieur de recherche - Post-Doc

2006 - 2007 My work consisted in the elaboration of anticancer molecules, and more specifically of proteins kinase inhibitors. I gained more experience in Medicinal Chemistry, improved my knowledge in heterocyclic synthesis and supervised laboratory students.
  • OSI Prosidion - Doctorante

2005 - 2005 This placement gave me the opportunity to participate in drug development meetings, to enhance my knowledge of the biological aspect of pharmaceutical research and to present my PhD project orally.
  • Organon - Chimiste Médicinal - Stage DEA

2003 - 2003 This training period consisted of the lead optimisation of a receptor antagonist for the central nervous system, through SAR studies and design of new derivatives to fulfil the required parameters (logP, logD, solubilities …). I had the opportunity to work in collaboration with computer modelling specialists.

Formations

  • University Of Oxford (Oxford)

    Oxford 2003 - 2006 PhD

My PhD focussed on methodology of aminohydroxylations reactions and more specifically on the Tethered Aminohydroxylation reaction (TA), where the nitrogen source is tethered to the olefin via an allylic carbamate. A new reoxidant was discovered and the TA is now a reliable and efficient method for the preparation of both -hydroxy--aminoalcohols and -hydroxy--aminoalcohols.
  • Université Clermont 2 Blaise Pascal

    Clermont Ferrand 1999 - 2003 DEA
  • Université Clermont 1 Auvergne (Clermont Ferrand)

    Clermont Ferrand 1998 - 1999 1ere année
  • Lycée Jeanne D'Arc

    Clermont Ferrand 1995 - 1998
