To diligently and professionally manage the consolidated financial accounts of the allocated projects (full scope) in execution and until FAC or formalised handover, and supporting the Project Director (and other project functions) as the finance partner.To ensure effective reporting and controlling of the projects under the own responsibility i.e. to ensure adequate controls and processes are in place to meet all of the Company’s requirements and that the accounting for the projects is in accordance with the Company’s guidelines and instructions.
Responsibilities
Cash Flow and Revenue / Margin Management
Monitor and forecast cash flows arising from the projects, setting control environment for the cash management in order to optimise cash flow.Monitor and forecast revenue and gross margins arising from the projects, setting control environment for the revenue and margin management.
Process Management
Understand project documents and systems and actively manage financial implications arising from them.Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant.Ensure the adequate establishment of the onshore projects in conjunction with the Head of Project Accounting & Controlling – Region and local unit finance team.Implement the controlling processes and tools used within the Business.
Project Controlling
Control and have at all times full knowledge of all financial movements within the projects, and ensuring they are correctly and accurately reported.Manage the issuance, reduction, recovery and cancellation of bonds and guarantees issued to the client.Manage taxes, insurances and duties and the effect on costs and cash flows.Manage and reconcile the onshore and offshore project results both within the project accounts and with respect to balance sheet positions related to the project.Ensure total consistency of all internal and external claims in the project financials.Ensure consistency of assessment of risk recognition and accounting for any risks and opportunities in the projects. Support correct risk recognition valuation and associated accounting.
Management Reporting
Manage the periodical consolidated project financial summaries and its presentations of the results.Produce all financial project reporting as requested.Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making.Ad-hoc reporting including special investigations of issues arising.People Management & DevelopmentFunctionally manage and motivate project and site controllers within the projects in order for them to complete their activities and to increase their competencies and performance.
Accountabilities
Accurate and timely preparation and consolidation of financial reporting.Accurate cash and revenue forecasting and management.Management of the bonds and guarantees.Effectively manage all internal project controlling interfaces on the projects such as other businesses, off and on shore locations including sites.Report control deficiencies to the project and finance management.Quality of the project controlling reporting.

- Implementation of Performances Dash-Board (direct labour efficiency, industrial productivity, purchasing productivity,… ) .
- Monthly reporting and forecasts calculation linked with the operational labours.
- Cost price analysis, standard gross margin analysis, and monthly results analysis of plant

- In charge of a cost accounting department (responsible for cost accounting leadership to make sure that both the operational and functional areas, are fully aligned with the practices and standards of internal control ).
- Control and guarantee the adequacy between the cost accountancy and the ERP for job automation.
- Balance sheet and income statement analysis, best fiscal solution identification.
- Key contact for Corporate and external auditors to guarantee the strictness in the management of plants.
Management :
- In charge of the department « Financial Controlling » in a Faurecia plant ( 7 Labours + 1 Junior Controller ).
- Manager of the department « Costing R&D » at Faurecia ( 10 labours in France + 3 labours in Germany).
