    Thaon Les Vosges 2010 - 2013 Responsible for operations in EMEAI for the Safety Footwear line of products (4 manufacturing sites, 1 distribution center): 90 M€- 600 persons - 2 M€/y investment. Develop the ISC Strategy, Support the business development trough 3 brands (Honeywell / MTS / Timberland). Decide the right investment.

    Assure the high quality products and good service ability.
    Deploy all best practices (Lean / VSM & Cycle time projects)

    I am more precisely in charge of the following:
    • Responsible for Safety results of Manufacturing Plants.
    • Responsible for Cost Performance of Manufacturing Plants. Accountable for the definition and right execution of Productivity Action Plans resulting in Cost Savings initiatives.
    • Responsible for Quality results of Manufacturing Plants. Ensure Plant Management implement Action Plans to reduce claims & quality defects.
    • Responsible for the definition & implementation of all Capital Expenditures related to Plants & Installations
    • Work with Division R&D & Marketing to industrialize New Products
    • Deploy World Class Manufacturing initiatives across the European division with the objectives of reducing waste & loss
  • Sperian Protection - Directeur des opérations Footwear EMEA

    Lyon 2005 - 2010 Reporting to the Vice President of Safety Footwear division (about 500 people, 4 production plants, annual sales of approx. 65 Million €), I was responsible over Europe, with the support of a team of 8 people, for the following:
    • 3 manufacturing plants (plus 1/dotted line)
    • Supply chain management
    • Purchasing
    • Quality

    I was more precisely be in charge of the following:
    Supply chain and purchasing :
    • Responsible of Division Supply Chain and purchasing results: Level of Inventories, Distribution & Transportation Costs, Availability & Punctuality.
    • Ensure for Direct Materials as well as for Indirect Goods coordination between Central
    Purchasing & Plant Management.

    Installation management
    • Ensure installations are carried out respecting the set standards (productivity, quality, safety)
    • Responsible for installations activity profitability (EBITDA)

    Management
    • Puts in place a World Class Manufacturing Organization
    • Manages the function to further build a result oriented and high performance team (i.e. setting individual objectives, performance monitoring, appraisal of staff, etc.).
