En résumé

Graduated from one of the top French engineering school in July 2006, I joined Schlumberger in one of the most booming area in Middle East.
I spent 3 years implementing new services in Qatar to overcome client demands, including the very challenging Casing While Drilling Operations.
From August 2009 to April 2011, I was in Kuwait, where I made the most of my experience to introduce new services and train younger engineers.
Following the MWD experience, I moved on the Directional Driller position, still in Kuwait for a year to aim at a drilling engineering position, which came in May 2012, when I moved to Kuala Lumpur to support Petronas Operations. In charge of 2 jack up rigs, I look after drilling planning, operations follow up and evaluation for Sepat and Tangga Barat projects.

  • Schlumberger - Drilling Engineer

Paris 2012 - maintenant Since March 2012 I took over two projects offshore West Malaysia. Supporting 2 jack up rigs planned to drilled 8 and 14 wells to develop oil and gas production in aging Sepat and Tangga Barat fields. I am in charge of helping Petronas teams to deliver drilling programs and running deep analysis in different fields such as hydraulics, torque and drag, surveying.
These 2 projects involve unconventional drilling technics such as Directional Casing While Drilling (dCwD) or Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD).
I am now preparing on top of these 2 projects a challenging exploration well involving dCwD and high temperature environment.
  • Schlumberger - Direction Driller

Paris 2011 - 2012 In Kuwait, I rapidely cross-trained to directional driller, being responsible of steering wells without supervision from the start to face the activity growth. I participated in performance drilling, open hole side track and deviated and horizontal wells running both mud motor and the latest rotary steerable system.
  • Schlumberger - MWD/LWD Senior Field Engineer

Paris 2006 - 2011 Schlumberger is a world leader in oilfield services aiming to deliver superior results and improved E&P performance for oil and gas companies around the world. The Drilling & Measurements segment concentrates on well planning, directional drilling optimization, formation evaluation and geosteering operations.

My main responsibilities include pre-job planning, mobilization and service delivery of new technology jobs, develop and maintain a positive relationship with clients to ensure business continuity and provide quality answers and solutions to client queries, requests, or problems.

I have been Lead Engineer responsible for running directional and formation evaluation tools in drilling horizontal, multi laterals, open hole side tracks and medium radius wells directing and executing complex troubleshooting tasks and provide decisive direction in solving technical and mechanical problems under extreme pressure.

I have attended intensive training from Schlumberger with excellent results and participated in several successful field tests in Qatar and introduced new services in Kuwait where the services have now become part of regular operations.
I also received recognition letters from the Occidental Petroleum of Qatar and the Vice president of Drilling & Measurements for Middle East and Asia, for my nvolvement in the Directional Casing While Drilling (DCwD) project in Qatar, 2009. DCwD was carried out for the first time in Middle East and Asia to overcome formation instability issues, drilling wells that were previously impossible.

This year, I regularly stand in for Field Service Manager, ensuring continuity of service delivery and client relations.
  • Rieter Automotive - Organisation and methods department engineer trainee

2005 - 2005 Rieter Automotive Systems is a leader for design, development, testing and manufacturing of acoustic and thermal products for the engine bay, underbody, trunk and interior of road vehicles.

My main responsabilities were to assisted the O&M department in starting the high rate production of a new floor carpet on a new automated production line by identifying the origin and overcome defective products, modifying the production line to reduce the main causes of micro-stops, designing and supervising the installion of a catwalk to be able to perform regular maintenance and creating ergonomic work stations.
