José ALONSO – Bid Manager
As a senior IT Architect I primarily contribute to SOGETI IS offerings for the IT Infrastructure and Operations professionals. In this offering development role and as a leading expert on IT architecture and design, I cover principally IT business continuity, and open source solutions. Recently I also work in the area of environmental considerations in the IT industry, certified individual by ADEME on Bilan Carbone method in December 2009.
I have been a frequent speaker at many customer-oriented seminars on Disaster Recovery Plan, IT Architecture & Infrastructures, and recently on Green IT approach.
Prior to joining SOGETI National Bid Management team, I served as a consultant in Support & Delivery team, technical customer manager for 3 main IBM Strategic Outsourcing customers (worldwide, european and national level), and systems & storage senior engineer in various SOGETI customers IT operations team. During my more than ten years of IT experience with infrastructure integration topics, I also acquired seasoned experience in complex mission-critical project and client engagement management.
I hold the French equivalent of a master’s degree in computer science from the "Ecole Polytechnique de l’Université de Tours".
