Responsibilities
* Liaisons: Liaisons with Government, Director General Health, DHO's,
DC,National Program District Coordinator, DPWO, LHW's,
LHS and attending relevant meetings, Key Stake holders, Salt
processor, NGO's and INGO's.
* Coordinate with stake holder's i.e. Govt: Officials. DHO, District focal person, Salt
processors.
* Supervise logistics to the salt processors, including potassium iodide, drip feed, test
kits etc.
* Support regional or district level activities for improving production of iodized salt
at the factories and coverage at house hold level.
* Quality assurance and monitoring at production, storage at market level. ;
* On going surveys at market and house hold for assuring the iodized salt. ;
* Awareness of iodine and health benefits of iodized salt. ;
* Facilitating/implementing Trainings of Salt processor and other capacity building
activities aware ness sessions.
* Support Quality control laboratories and its functions.
* Preparing and Submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Responsibilities
* Liaisons:
Liaisons with Government, DHO's, National Program District Coordinator,
DPWO, LHW's, LHS and attending meetings (DCM District Coordination
Meetings, DHMPT District Health and Population Management Team meeting,
DTC District Technical Committee Meeting and other NGO's, INGO's etc.
* General Operations:
* Planning, implementing, controlling and monitoring the operations and
field activities of MSS MNCH/FPRH projects in the region, providing
guidance and support to the district level field activities.
* Effectively and efficiently manage all project activities and resources
(Human, financial, physical material assets, etc) in order to meet expected
result and in developing annual activities and procurement work plans as
well as budgets based on expected year-end outputs; to ensure close
monitoring of activities and Disbursements.
* Ability to conceptualize: plan and coordinate the basic design of the PPP
project and develop partnership with Private Providers gradually, and
responsible for providing the guidance and support for implementation of
field based activities at districts level.
* Voucher Management System: Implementation of the VMS while
consistently making efforts to improve the operating quality and efficiency
of the initiative; ensure compliance with the procedures for smooth
financial management through developing a close working relationship
with all of MSS's Project functions and presenting prompt analytical
reports for follow up. Verifying and reimbursing claims according to
approved procedure.
o Preparing all quantitative & qualitative substantive progress reports as may
be required by the project and in preparing periodic
procurement/contracting and financial delivery report for MSS
management.
* Review performance of accredited Private Providers & de-accredit
Underperforming or non-complying Providers & accreditation of new
providers'
* Promote and share information with the relevant staff, internal departments
and community by initiating and/or participating in consultative meetings
o Working closely with Project/Clinic/PPP managers to supervise smooth
functioning of all MSS operations in the region that mainly include clinics,
camps, PPP, CBD and mobiles.
o Supervising and developing teamwork among the regional staff through
exemplary leadership, guidance, and control and ensuring personal
development of members.
* Project Management:
* Preparing annual work plan and budget for each project along with
individual project teams.
* Setting and reviewing short term and long-term CYP targets for all projects
in the region along with the project teams and Operations Director.
o Reviewing projects' performance and preparing strategies to achieve
project sustainability before the end of each project.
* Developing marketing plans, suggesting improvement and monitoring its
Implementation at each project
* Assisting, participating and contributing in initiation and execution of all
gender related activities at the project and in the community
o Conduct periodic trainings, reviews and assessments of project
implementation.
* Administrative:
* Ensuring that monthly reports and other required data is accurately and
Timely prepared and submitted to the head office in accordance with given
guidelines and requirements.
o Documenting, preparing and arranging logistics for annual activities, midterm reviews and end of the project reviews by donors and their
representatives.
* Assessing annual requirement and ensuring timely supplies of IEC material
to all the projects.
* Ensuring effective liaison with government, NGO's, and other agencies
with respect to RH and relevant activities at the projects.
* Monitoring:
* Monitoring the project activities through regular personal visits to the sites
o Facilitating the internal and external auditors and ensuring timely Team
Development
* Manage project team, their periodical performance review, grievance
handling and resolution of related issues.
* Identify the capacity building needs of project teams and ensure relevant
trainings are imparted in coordination with TME department.
* Policies & Procedures:
* Ensure all HR related policies and financial guidelines are being followed
by project staff.
* MIS:
* Manage MIS reporting software and submission of all reports on the
required standard format.
