En résumé

Depuis le début de ma carrière, j'ai pourvu un grand éventail des responsabilités inhérentes à la localisation (communément appelée "traduction") et ceci principalement dans le secteur informatique. J'ai commencé comme traductrice autodidacte, puis j'ai fait de l'édition, de l'ingénierie, de la gestion de projet et plus récemment de la gestion de personnel et de budget. Lors de mon dernier poste à Yahoo!, mes efforts étaient centrés sur la localisation de sites web ainsi que celle de logiciels à application mobile.
Mes atouts principaux sont la maîtrise des aléas communs à tous projets ainsi que la gestion de prestataires. De plus, je suis trilingue avec l'anglais et l'espagnol écrits et parlés couramment.

  • Yahoo! - Sr Localization Program Manager

    PARIS 2007 - 2013 * Managed central team budget including Purchase orders, invoicing, overall spend, reporting and analysis.
    * Responsible for the localization of Mobile products: mobile web, html5 and native applications.
    * Launched and on-going management of 22 localized Marketing sites for the Mobile division.
    * Negotiated and coordinated in-country Marketing requests for roadmap inclusion.
    * Worked with the management team to establish Localization standards.

  • Coremetrics - Localization Lead

    2006 - 2007 * Supervised product localization into French, German and Spanish.
    * Managed vendors.
    * Spearheaded the internationalization committee.
    * Tested the French Coremetrics Suite which included creating/updating the test plan, as well as bug fixes.

  • Remedy - Localization Manager

    tizi ouzou 2000 - 2004 * Responsible for the management of the localization team, including setting goals and measuring accomplishments, writing reviews, addressing personnel issues, as well as resource and load balancing.
    * Responsible for the localization engineering and QA of the company products into six languages.
    * Active participant in the development and implementation of the localization feature as part of the AR System architecture.
    * Responsible for ensuring simultaneous release of all localized versions.

  • S3 / Diamond Multimedia - Localization Manager

    1999 - 2000 * Responsible for the localization of multimedia products, retail and OEM, including vendor selection and management, preparation of localization kits, close interaction with in-country reviewers, and project planning to ensure timely releases.
    * Active member of the New Product Launch team.

  • BMC Software - Senior Localization Project Manager

    Courbevoie 1998 - 1999 * Supported and educated R&D teams on globalization issues.
    * Responsible for setting up BMC localization process.
    * Designed a Localization Cost Model.
    * Managed localization projects.
