En résumé

The Nestlé Research Center provides support for all Nestlé R&D and work on many research areas (nutrition, food structure, consumer&sensory science...).
The group of statisticians provides expertise (DoE, univariate & multivariate analysis, tool development) and develops statistical methodologies.

Main area of expertise: statistics dedicated to sensory and consumer science (monadic profiling, Temporal Dominance of Sensation, preference mapping, consumer tests), product development (DoE, modelling) and Meta-analysis.
Last mission: building of an internal network of statistics in one Nestlé research unit, recruitment of a statistician and development of the strategy for the increase of statistical competence/expertise.

    2003 - 2006 Ph.D.in sensometry (statistics applied to sensory analysis): investigations about the panel peformance:
    - Definition of the performance for a panelist
    - Evolution of the performance over time
    - Influence of several factors (gendre, age, trianing level) on the performance

    This work lead to the creation of a database for sensory profiling data which provide free data analyses (Sensobase website).
