Design of aircraft and helicopter filtering equipments, for fluid and air application. The work includes design, documentation, project managements (increasingly) and liaison with worldwide customers.
New process implementation, to maintain or improve the cost effectiveness of products. These projects present the great interest of having to deal with improvement of existing design to achieve a better cost efficiency, new qualification plan, and to keep a strong link with manufacturing.
From August 2005, to March 2007: Design engineer responsible for the motorsport filters. The job includes design of filters, liaison with manufacturing and sales to achieve the short timescale typical of this market, as well as support of the customers (mainly F1 teams).

BORDES2004 - 2004Turbomeca is a world leading manufacturer of gas turbine for helicopters. This company also manufactures turbojet engines for aircraft and missiles, and Land and Marines Turbines. Turbomeca is part of the SAFRAN Group. The 5 months training period took place in the Tarnos site, France. The Tarnos site is a manufacturing plant, but is also the main Customer Support Services site in France.
The work placement subject was on the compliance with standard of the cleaning and surface treatment workshop and the purifying station. The project was to ensure the update of the installation.
The tasks were to:
- Follow up of the project
- Liaison with subcontractor for the initial study
- Write security files for the workers

2003 - 2003Work placement at the University of Portsmouth, England, for 5 months in 2003. The placement took place in the Rapid Prototyping laboratory of the Faculty of Technology. This laboratory supports the University work but also work for external customers in the South regions.

The task were to:
- Start and commission a Rapid Prototyping machine recently bought.
- Explain the working, and teach how to use the new equipment to the principal technician of the RP laboratory
