  • AXA Private Equity - Portfolio Valuation Officer

    2011 - maintenant - Collecting operational and financial data from AXA PE Front Office (investment memorandum, GP reports) and Middle Office for each of the companies belonging to AXA Private Equity’s Direct Funds (Venture, Small Cap, LBO Mid Cap, Infrastructure, Co-Investment, Mezzanine, Asian Funds);
    - Using these data, I prepare financial models for each company of the portfolio. Then, I rely on these models to carry out the quarterly valuation (through Multiple and DCF methods) of companies in the AXA Private Equity’s portfolio. Our valuations should reflect the fundamentals and the operational business of these companies in portfolio.
    - Presenting with my managers the valuation conclusions as part of quarterly valuation committees for each of the Direct Funds. These committees also include Front-Office’s and Middle-Office’s boss.

    Objectives:
    - Gain an in depth understanding of the Audit process to develop knowledge applicable to any business ;
    - Work with managers who taught me different ways to perform procedures (payroll process, cash process). As well, this allowed me to improve my Excel skills, a vital tool in business management.

    Missions:
    - Audit procedure for the Westfield Group, an Australian shopping centre group undertaking ownership, development, design, construction, funds/asset management, property management, leasing, and marketing activities. The Westfield Group is a multinational company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. It has interests in and operates one of the world's largest shopping centre portfolios.
    - Audit procedure for International Public Partnership. INPP is a large British investment company dedicated to Private Finance Initiative (PFI) investments. The PFI is a way of creating public–private partnerships (PPPs) by funding public infrastructure projects with private capital.

  • Leroy Merlin - Lens - Assistant Control Manager - inventory management

    2010 - 2010 Assistant Control Manager at LEROY MERLIN, a French home improvement retailer.

    Objective:
    Optimizing the inventory system of the department I worked for and thinking about the Cross Docking system.

    Missions:
    - Collecting data from supply chain and direct sales in order to find how to optimize the stock of the paint department;
    - Using Excel (pivot tables, formulas) to develop a model based on the cross-docking system for Just in Time improvement;
    - Power Point presentation of the model to my CEO. It is expected to optimize the cash flow of the paint department.
