During these 5 years as a Project Management consultant, I worked on several aerospace industry projects within the Airbus A350XWB development program, such as Flight Simulators design, onboard maintenance systems design, onboard power generation systems design, fuel inerting system design, centre fuselage composite structure design and production. I worked both in France and Spain including several business trips to the UK and USA.
As a Project Management Officer my main duties were to define and maintain common processes and standards for project management within the organisation, being the authority regarding the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and project execution.
I guided the project team into building up and maintaining WBS, OBS, PBS and project schedule. As the project focal point I was also in charge of the coordination between all project stakeholders and the communication on projects outcomes. I had to produce, maintain, analyse and communicate on project metrics (quality, cost, delivery, performance...). I was in charge of the coordination between project and program regarding communication, processes, schedules, deadlines, costs and presenting project performance reviews together with the project leader.
I also had to take in charge project leader duties when he was off.

I was also assigned to an aircraft parts supply chain improvement project during 1 year (Feb 2012 – Jan 2013). I was inspecting supplier factories in order to improve the supply chain efficiency by:
    -Improving the customer/supplier process efficiency,
-Getting the suppliers certified on time,

Integration of a Business Travel Management IT system for the overall France Télécom / Orange group.
As project manager deputy, my responsibilities were:
    -Drafting the project plan,
    -Collecting customer requirements,
-Setting up and maintaining the project schedule,
-Supporting the project manager in monitoring project costs,
    -Managing project partners and suppliers,
-Providing an efficient internal and external project communication,
-Writing down and applying test plans,

This project included several stakeholders: a software provider (Etap On Line – Paris), a travel agency (Carlson Wagonlit – Paris), an online booking provider (Amadeus – Paris) and a customer (France Telecom / Orange – Paris). My manager and I were in charge of the overall project management. The main challenge was to coordinate the project team and manage to reach the customer needs in spite of each stakholder's technical constraints.

    Achievements:

Quickly and successfully adapted into the project organisation. Together we managed to coordinate the whole project to achieve it on time, regarding costs and quality. The customer was fully satisfied and asked us to extend the project to his other entities in Spain and in the UK.
