The Economic Recovery and Development (ERD) department is one of the six technical units of the International Rescue Committee's global network (Child and Youth Protection, Governance and Rights, Health, Women's Protection and Empowerment, Research and Development). Its mission is to protect, support and improve household livelihoods and revitalize local economies in disaster-affected countries.

- Creation of fundraising/communication materials for a wide range of projects: microfranchising, women's empowerment, microfinance, financial inclusion, enterprise development, food security and nutrition, health, agriculture, livestock, education...
- Research support for market assessments within the framework of early response to crisis (conflict, natural disaster, massive displacements)
- Creation of the department monthly newsletter
- French-English translation work
- Administrative and logistical support for travels of staff and external consultants to
the field.
