The past decade has witnessed a remarkable run of progress in digital technologies.
Customers don’t separate their online experiences from their physical experiences. They see products and services as a whole.
Entering into the digital world is challenging for companies in every industry and geographical area, with many different business units.
They must focus on enhancing a full spectrum of customer usages, streamlining internal operational processes, or combining both to reinvent business models.
Technologies are not goals but tools. Still, it takes a great IT system to communicate with all digital and physical front-end touchpoints (online, mobile, point-of-sale, call center, social media, …) and back-end touchpoints (ERP, warehouses, 3PL,…).
My responsibility is to manage eCommerce projects in combining the old and the new architecture, in leading all internal and external stakeholders involved, in taking care of the exponential and rapid Pace of the technological innovation.
I also advocate companies on defining a strong, engaging, and clear direction (vision, strategy), and a governance (mechanism) to conduct the organization’s effort through their digital transformation in a long-term success.
