Mission: Office Management Program within the framework of the Transformation program
Malakoff Médéric is a 6000-employee non-profit mutual group with equal representation on both sides. The group is
a major player in the field of supplementary pay-as-you-go pension systems and also provides private healthcare and
protection insurance as well as employee savings- and pension plans.
My main tasks were:
- Coordinating and running the program;
- Assisting the transformation program’s managing team with the steering of the program’s road map;
- Coordinating 5 cross-functional workshops as well as 12 projects featured in the program;
- Monitoring and consolidating the program’s budget and risks for reporting purposes to the attention of the
program’s management;
- Implementing and achieving a follow-up process for actions and workloads;
- Providing assistance for project steering in order to deal with specific issues.

2010 - 2012-Pickorskip.com: Pick or Skip allows users to participate in result-oriented video chat events in order to meet people for different purposes, such as finding a roommate, a babysitter or networking on a given topic. It is an innovative and time-efficient way of finding someone you are looking for.
I was in charge of both the financial and the legal aspects of the company during its creation as well as throughout its operation and I was responsible for hiring and managing a team of over 10 people. In conjunction with the other co-founder, I also developed the product, the strategy regarding business development as well as the companies’ marketing and communication.

As part of this team, I have had various consulting and auditing assignments in the fields of Corporate and Investment Banking, Private banking, Asset Management and retail banking in La Défense, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Luxemburg and Dubai, including :
-Risk management assessments for multiple trading books
-Involvement in two datarooms for M&A operations as part of the stream risk team
-Security assessment of operations and systems for retail banking, private banking and market operations

Renault Finance

2007 - 2007Renault Finance is the entity in charge of all the interest rates trading, currency trading and metal trading of the Renault-Nissan group. The two main activities of the interest rates team are cash pooling and cash management activities as well as prop trading activities.
For the cash pooling and cash management activities my main tasks were:
- To execute Money Market Deals (Loan and Deposit, FXswap...) in order to optimize short-term cash management;
- The analysis of asset management funds in order to invest any excess cash in the medium and long term. This task required me to develop a VBA tool that allowed me to analyze and compare different investment funds using their track record in order to calculate their risk and return (using volatility, sharp ratio…).
For the prop trading activities my main tasks were:
- To participate in the development and implementation of option strategies using mainly Swaption, IRS and CMS;
- To participate in arbitrage activities, particularly by developing a VBA tool plug on Reuters that arbitrates in real time various currency swaps versus direct deposits.
I also had the opportunity to work closely with the middle office in order to identify deals that could be unwound in order to reduce the balance sheet and to detect and understand possible distortions in the risk indicators between the front and middle office software.

PARIS2005 - 2005As a division of the Group Risk Management team, The Basel 2 team was responsible for the development and implementation of the new Basel 2 requirement on a companywide scale. Within the framework of this task, we were in charge of testing the consequences of the implementation of this new regulation and to compare the potential benefit resulting from the choice between the three options it provided. The main tasks I had to perform while working in this team were:
- The creation of test procedures for new RWA calculation schemes using Standard and IRB systems
- Operating test procedures
- The comparison of the results for Basel I, Standard and IRB systems
- The search for potential issues for the extreme figures
