  • AREVA Solar Inc - USA - Senior Vice-President Global Manufacturing

    2011 - maintenant AREVA Solar is leader in solar thermal CSP solutions based on Fresnel technology.

    Two main assignments in this late stage start-up bought to VCs from the Silicon Valley

    - Senior Vice-President Global Manufacturing: Took over manufacturing activities to scale and manage operations from “ground zero” to mass manufacturing in a fast track mode to support contracted projects around the world. Turnaround US manufacturing operations in 12 months, Indian operations in 5 months and Australian operations in 3 months.
    - Project Director and Executive Sponsor of the First of Kind Solar Fresnel power plant in the US supplementing steam to an existing coal and gas plant at Tucson Electric Power in Arizona. Took over project from previous management team and will deliver the project in less than 11 months and within budget constraints. Project scope includes design, procure, construct and commission.
  • AREVA Renewables Inc - USA - Senior Vice-President Operations AREVA Renewables North America

    2009 - 2011 - Designed entry strategy and run operations to deploy AREVA Renewable portfolio in North America including Offshore Wind, Solar (CPV and PV) , Biomass and Electrical Storage.
    - Created and co-managed a Joint Venture with a major US utility to develop, build and run a fleet of biomass projects in the US.

  • AREVA Inc - USA - Vice-President Strategy and Marketing North Amercia

    2004 - 2008 - Developed and implemented the first strategic action plan for the North American region, federating 18 business lines across nuclear, renewable and T&D activities. To support this strategy, deployed and managed the Key Accounts Manager program for 9 large US utilities. Company grew in North America from $500M in 2002 to $2.4B by 2009.
    - Acted as Project Director of a major change management program reporting directly to AREVA worldwide President and CEO; program consisted into a new business model for the company by shifting from selling products and services to selling solutions tied to customer performance achievements.
  • EURIWARE Group - Paris- France - Division CEO

    2000 - 2003 Hired by AREVA in 2000 as CEO to speed up positionning of Euriware on the competitive market,mainly in Outsourcing, Systems Integration and Consulting:
    - Positionned Euriware as the " Alternative" to large established players such as IBM, EDS, HP, Atos and CSC.
    - Won and took 15 new outsourcing deals from the competition,
    - Consolidated 56 business lines into 6 groups,
    - Improved annual sales by 75% and repeat business by 15%,
    - Improved net margin by 28%.

    1999 - 2000 Turned around and Managed all systems integration and third maintenance competencies:
    - P&L responsibility with revenue > 350 million French Francs
