Jean VEYRON LA CROIX

Paris

En résumé

I am a French Marine Engineer and have been working for the last four (4) years for an Oil and Gas Company, Technip UK, located in Aberdeen.
My current job title is Capex Project Manager for International Projects for value ranging from £8M to £12M. My job definition encompasses the safe and effective execution of nominated Capex and Complex Projects from concept / feasibility stages, planning, to site management execution, budget management, reporting and close out. This position gave me the opportunity to plan and execute investments and major dry dockings on Dive Support Vessels, Construction vessels and pipelay vessels in Europe, USA and Brazil.
Prior accessing this position, I have held for more than 8 years managerial functions offshore, in naval industrial systems, following completion of the French Dual Marine Master Degree, that did allow me to gain necessary technical and managerial experience to validate my Chief Engineer ticket.

Following this time at sea, I continued my professional development by graduating with honors from Advanced Master in Industrial Management, Project and Supply Chain at Paris Central School (ECP) and gained project management certification (level D) from the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
Since my arrival in UK, in addition to the Company trainings, I studied Subsea Engineering in Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen) and been elected as a Chartered Marine Engineer from Imarest. I am currently receiving training in Lean Six Sigma to pass green belt certification in 2015.

These various experiences have allowed me to develop skills in the monitoring of complex and different industrial systems in their lifetime (construction, commissioning, maintenance) and apprehend industrial activity in its entirety - technical, economic and social- in an international environment with various actors which require permanent adaptation.
