Since my childhood, I'm passionate of space science and technologies. Fortunately, I am born in Toulouse, which is a good place to study astrophysics, so I joined a master degree specialized into Astrophysics and Space Technologies, at the University of Science Paul Sabatier.
During my degree, I had the opportunity to formalize myself in cryogenics, vacuum testing and electronics. I also improve my skills into programming, by means of lessons and projects of C and C++ languages.
At the end of my school program, I did an internship at CNES (National French Space Center). My work was to design an optical bench and develop a stabilized LASER (frequency stabilized), in order to be used for atoms cooling into an interferometer and/or an atomic clock. This work has been proposed to provide a possible solution for reduce the cost of technologies used into the STE-QUEST mission.
After this internship, I joined IRAP (Astrophysics and Planetology Research Institute) to work as a software engineer. I am responsible of the development of several ground segment software products which will be used to process data coming from two instruments of the TARANIS mission (IDEE and XGRE). My main work is to develop programs able to process raw data coming from the satellite to create .cdf files (http://cdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/ ) of calibrated data in order to be used by scientists.
I work with C++ and IDL languages using oriented object programming methodology. I also use SVN versioning system daily for safety reasons.
Today, I would like to find a position in UK, as I want to have international experiences.
